Terms of Use
In effect from October 21, 2026. A fuller legal version is being prepared; these plain-language terms apply in the meantime.
Not medical advice
Calorcast gives general nutrition planning, not medical, dietitian or mental-health advice, and it does not diagnose or treat anything. Your targets and meals are estimates. Talk to a doctor or registered dietitian before changing how you eat, especially if you are pregnant or nursing, have a medical condition, take medication, have a history of disordered eating, or are training for a competition. Stop and get help if you feel unwell. Nothing here replaces a professional who knows you.
Who can use it
You must be 18 or over and give us accurate information. Keep your password private; you are responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us at once if you think someone else has used it.
Using the app
- Use it for yourself and, if you choose, the people you cook for or who coach you. Don't misuse it, break into it, overload it, or use it to harm or spam anyone.
- Don't put in someone else's details without their permission. Invites go to the person's own email address and only that person can accept them.
- Coaches and friends you invite are not employed or checked by us. What a coach tells you is between you and them, and a coach should not be used in place of medical care.
- Recipes you import stay the property of their creators. We show your own copy to you only and credit the source.
Your content
What you enter is yours. You allow us to store and process it to run the service for you, as described in the Privacy Policy.
The service
Calorcast is in preview and free for now. It may change, have mistakes or be unavailable at times, and we may add paid plans later (we will tell you first). We can suspend an account that breaks these terms. You can stop at any time by deleting your account under More → Your data.
Limits on our responsibility
We work hard to keep the app accurate and safe, including checking meals against the allergies you list. Even so, food labels and nutrition values can be wrong, so always read labels and don't rely on the app alone if you have a serious allergy. To the extent the law allows, the service is provided "as is" and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing here limits rights you have by law.
Changes and questions
If we change these terms in a way that matters, we will tell you before it applies. Questions: see Contact.
